The North Shore Navigators and The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter will work "MAGIC" 106.7 on Sunday, May 3rd as Cara Campolo and Richard Lombardo of the Massachusetts Chapter will be featured guests on the radio show, “Boston Life,” hosted by Gay Vernon. The trio will discuss ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and the kickoff of the “4 ALS” Campaign – an awareness campaign celebrating the 70 Anniversary of baseball legend Lou Gehrig’s farewell speech. The initiative will run from May through July 4th, and features a 50/50 partnership between the Navs and The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter on Saturday, June 27th at 7pm, when the Navigators host the Lowell All-Americans in an NECBL contest. Former Red Sox star and ALS Association supporter, Curt Schilling, will be throwing out the first pitch to "Strike Out ALS." 50% of the proceeds from that evening’s game will go to ALS research worldwide and patient care throughout the Commonwealth. For more information or tickets please contact Cara Campolo at http://webmail.nsnavs.com/services/go.php?url=mailto%3Acara.campolo%40als-ma.org or 888-CURE-ALS.
